The Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD) has begun a multi-phase native planting project on nearly 70 acres of ponds and wetlands located north of Moses Lake. This long-term restoration effort aims to improve habitat, support wildlife, and strengthen the ecological health of this important wetland complex.

The Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD) team and board members attended the Columbia Basin Development League (CBDL) Conference and Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 13th, in Moses Lake.

On Thursday, November 13th, Kristina Ribellia, Executive Director of the Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD), and Dr. Sasha Richey McLarty, Assistant Professor at Washington State University, co-presented at the Columbia Basin Development League’s (CBDL) Conference and Annual Meeting held at Big Bend Community College. Their presentations highlighted water sustainability initiatives in the Columbia Basin.
