Annual Events

CBCD is proud to coordinate and host several annual events with and for our partners across the Basin.
The Moses Lake Carp Classic is one of the largest bowfishing tournaments in Washington State. Held annually at Connelly Park in Moses Lake, the event draws anglers looking to showcase their skills while helping control the carp population in the lake.
An annual educational symposium with a focus on environmental changes in gardening with an opportunity for vendors and conservation organizations to share their expertise.

This fun and free family event features local writers, actors, and musicians. Join us and learn more about how we are tackling harmful algae blooms in Moses Lake – and what you can do to help make a difference.
For over two decades this festival celebrates the annual return of nearly 35,000 sand hill cranes to Othello, Washington every March as they migrate north to their breeding grounds in Alaska.
